As our next rally was to be a tarmac rally we thought we would take the opportunity to get a bit of practice in on tarmac by doing a test day at Goodwood race circuit in West Sussex.  We opted to use the standard road tyres that came with the car.  Unfortunately, after 5 laps the tyres lost all hint of grip and keeping the car on the racing line was impossible so we had to limit each of our track sessions to just the 5 laps.  Despite this, it was a valuable experience and allowed us to gain more hours in the car.
